"The REPORTER" MONTHLY MAGAZINE, APRIL 2004 on the  COSTA DEL SOL.

“DON’T GET BOOKED – READ!

If you are an English speaking driver in Spain but do not know your testigos (warning lights) from your amortiguadores (shock absorbers), help is at hand in the shape of a new, glove compartment sized guide called MOTORING IN SPAIN.  Written by Brian Deller because he found retirement “too boring”, it is also as a result of his own experiences driving here.

‘Most foreign visitors and residents are ignorant of the many motoring differences here, especially the road signs’ he says.  ‘Even people who have lived here for 10 years or more’.

He has drawn too on his experiences as a former motorcycle riding instructor and as a police reservist working in the filed of serious road traffic accidents to compile the booklet, which contains a glossary of motoring terms in English/Spanish/English, more than 20 pages of road signs, information on insurance, laws and penalties, driving licences, taxes, buying and selling a car in Spain and much more”.

 ANOTHER REVIEW.
